Out-of-office for Discord — a stand-in that handles things while a member is away
Out-of-office for Discord: while you are away, a stand-in answers people who mention you, using rules you write with /doppelganger rules. Limits on replies per hour, cooldowns, channels it may never speak in and stop words keep it polite.

Set it up
- Switch on Doppelgänger
Dashboard → your server → Modules → Chat & Social → Doppelgänger. It starts off, like every feature.
- Open Doppelgänger in the sidebar
Its settings save as you change them and work straight away.

Settings

- Beats any channel a member chooses. Announcement and staff channels belong here.
- Words that stop any stand-in replying
- Comma separated. If a message contains one of these, every stand-in stays quiet — this is how “never answer personal questions” is enforced server-wide. e.g. address, phone, password
