Leveling
Configure XP and level rewards
Members earn XP for chatting, within the minimum and maximum per message and the cooldown you set, and level up. Level-up messages, role rewards, XP exclusions, activity roles and seasons are set on the dashboard. /level rank shows a rank card, /level leaderboard the top members, and levels can be imported from another bot.

Set it up
- Switch on Leveling
Dashboard → your server → Modules → Levels & Economy → Leveling. It starts off, like every feature.

Its settings save as you change them and work straight away.

Scales all XP. 2 doubles it for everyone, 0.5 halves it.

Where level-ups are announced: in the channel the member was chatting in, by DM, or off.

1 = every level. Levels with a reward role or their own message are always announced.

Settings
Everything on the Leveling page of the dashboard. Changes save as you make them.

- Only from level
- Level-ups below this level are not announced, so early levels don't flood chat.
- Min XP per Message
- The least XP a message can earn. Each message earns a random amount between min and max.
- Max XP per Message
- The most XP a message can earn.
- XP Cooldown (seconds)
- Messages within this many seconds of the last one earn no XP, which stops spam paying off.
- Level Up Message
- Variables: {user}, {level}, {xp} e.g. Congrats {user}, you reached level {level}!
- Stack Role Rewards
- Keep previous level roles when earning new ones

- Attach the member's rank card (their theme, or the server's) to the level-up message.

- Activity window (days)
- How far back "active members" are counted for the leaderboard and stats.
- Import from
- Bring levels across from MEE6, Lurkr, Amari or Tatsu, or from a CSV or JSON file from any bot.
- If someone already has XP here
- Keep whichever level is higher, or use the imported level.
- API key
- Amari and Tatsu need your API key to read your levels. It is used once for the import and not kept. e.g. Paste the key (used once, never saved)
- File
- A CSV or JSON export from any bot, instead of importing from one directly.
- Which card members get here
- Members design cards on our website at dashboard.cubsoftware.site/my-card (or with /level theme): a main card for every server, and if they like, one just for this server.
