Anti-Raid
Protect your server from raid attacks
Watches the join rate. When more than the number of members you set join within the time window, the bot takes the action you choose, such as alerting staff or locking the server for the minutes you set. It can also watch for unusual surges against your server's own normal (for example 3 times the usual joins in an hour) and alert staff or raise verification for as long as you choose, putting it back by itself. You can also stop accounts younger than a minimum age and names matching patterns you list. The no-profile-picture rule can have its own action (alert only, quarantine, kick or ban) and can be limited to accounts younger than the days you set.
- Free, like every feature

Settings
Everything on the Anti-Raid page of the dashboard. Changes save as you make them.
- Anti-Raid Protection

- Action
- What happens during a raid: alert only, lock the server down, quarantine, kick or ban the new members.
- Alert Channel
- Where your staff are told a raid is happening.
- Min Account Age (days)
- 0 = disabled
- Lockdown Duration (min)
- 0 = manual unlock
- Require Avatar
- Kick accounts without profile picture
- Blocked username patterns
- One per line, matched against username and nickname. Plain text matches anywhere in the name; wrap in slashes for a regular expression (/^raid\d+$/). Raids usually arrive with names that share a pattern, which catches them before any join threshold trips. e.g. discord.gg free nitro /^raid\d+$/
- Watch for surges
- Off until you switch it on
- Times normal
- How many times busier than usual joins must be to count as a surge (2 means twice as many as normal). e.g. 3
- And at least (joins)
- A surge also needs at least this many joins, so a quiet server isn't flagged by three people. e.g. 20
- Within (minutes)
- The time window the surge is counted over. e.g. 60
- "Normal" is the last (days)
- How many days of joins the bot averages to learn what normal is for your server. e.g. 14
- Then
- Tell staff only, or tell staff and raise Discord's verification level until it calms down.
- Raise verification to
- The Discord verification level used during a surge. Higher stops more new accounts chatting.
- For (hours)
- How long the raised level stays at most. It goes back once joins are normal. e.g. 1
- Alert message (optional)
- Use {joins}, {usual} and {minutes}. Verification goes back by itself once joins are normal again, unless someone changed it in the meantime. e.g. {joins} people joined in {minutes} minutes (normally {usual}) — please keep an eye out
- For (hours, 1–24)
- How long invites and DMs stay paused. Discord lifts them by itself.
- Exempt Bots
- Bots can only be added by an admin, so they skip every check above and never count towards a join flood. Turn off only if you want bots checked too.
